Dance Fitness Classes with Miranda Palmer

The live class on a Thursday is currently run as half Zumba® Toning and half Zumba®.

We warm up safely at the start of class, as we do in all the classes.

Then we use light hand weights to dance, tone and sculpt the muscles to several fabulous music tracks.

Each routine focusses on a different muscle group, so that after half an hour we have had a thorough workout.

The choreography is varied enough to keep the mind active and to feel like you are dancing, but with plenty of emphasis on working the muscles, particularly the upper body, safely and effectively.

Miranda gives coaching tips throughout this section of the class, as reminders of correct posture and safe technique.

For the second half of the class, we turn up the music a little louder and dance to some more fabulous Zumba® tracks, to get our heart rates up before a relaxing cool down stretch to finish.

This class can be accessed online as well. A wonderful way to ‘join’ a live class from home without the inconvenience of travelling to the venue.
